Kennedy was a student at King James from 2012 to 2019. After completing her A’ Levels in Sixth Form, she moved to Leeds to study an Undergraduate Law Degree at the University of Law.

Media Studies students in Years 10 and 12 have visited Beamish Museum for the annual trip designed to give students the opportunity to see how setting, props, costume, hair and make-up are carefully chosen and combined to reflect a specific time period; this is an important aspect of media production called mise-en-scene.
