Year 9 Art students have been working on a creative project with Durham University this half term called 'Weaving Friendships'.

The project was designed to promote and celebrate global unity by creating woven pieces of art using colourful strips of paper containing messages of friendship and unity. The Year 9 group did a fantastic job of crafting a large number of weaves with messages written in many different languages to fully demonstrate the concept of friendship across the world.
